de Bono Consulting, a Resources Unlimited Company, is dedicated to Dr. Edward de Bono's critical and creative thinking skills, Six Thinking Hats Training, Lateral Thinking, Focus on Facilitation, Simplicity, and Six Value Medals.
Our organization was founded in 1976 by President, Barbara Stennes. For over 31 years, she has owned and operated Resources Unlimited plus several other businesses, being responsible for diverse areas such as business development, marketing, human resources, and operations.
Dr. Edward de Bono has personally trained and certified Barbara to facilitate seminars on creativity, innovation, and creative thinking skills. She is one of four certified trainers worldwide to receive a special award entitled "Lifetime Certified de Bono Master Trainer" for her 10 + years of outstanding leadership in Edward de Bono's Global Network.
Barbara earned the Certified Speaking Professional title from the National Speakers Association, and has received numerous sales and leadership awards from other organizations. Barbara served as president of the American Society for Training and Development (Iowa Chapter), and is a former board member of several other organizations.
